Liam Martin Today
Most Wanted has covered its fair share of mobile phones in recent months, what with the launch of the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3, not to mention its miniature counterpart. And while we largely liked those phones for a variety of different reasons, Most Wanted loves the Google Nexus 4.
Google has been on a roll as of late, releasing excellent products at affordable prices, such as the Nexus 7 tablet. The Google Nexus 4 is no different, matching all of the best smartphones in terms of power and specifications, but smashing them with its low price.
?
For less than ?250, the Google Nexus 4 features a sizeable 4.7? screen ? bigger than the iPhone 5 ? with a resolution of 1280x768 and a higher pixel density than the Galaxy S3, not to mention its weaker offshoot. Already you can see why we like the phone so much...but wait, there?s more.?
Next up is the quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon pro chip processor, which is assisted by 2GB of RAM, a killer combo that makes the Nexus 4 perfect for running games and videos. Even better is that it runs of the latest version of Android ? Jelly Bean ? so users can benefit from 360 degree panoramic photographs with the 8MP camera, among a host of other tricks.
?
With a glass casing, near-field communication technology and wireless charging, this is up there with the very best phones available today, but at a snip of the price. It?s worth spending a little more for the 16GB version, but that?s pretty much the only catch.

About Liam Martin I love gadgets, gizmos and games and look forward to a future where humans and robots can co-exist peacefully. My most wanted includes a Wii U, a Pac-Man heat changing mug and the impressively compact Yamaha YHT-S400 home cinema system. I'm on Google+.
